Kia ora.

I am a mum of 4 and first became passionate about home based education when my oldest children were small.  Since then I have obtained a Bachelor in education (0-8) Early years teaching, along with a post grad dip in teaching second language.  I am a believer in life long learning and along with these qualifications have therefore continued my own with a varied range from social work & psychology, to brain development and child protection.  I value growth mindset thinking and the natural world and also creative arts in education.

Over the years I have worked for several home based services and love the role of Visiting Teacher.  I enjoy being able to support others to be the best they can be in their journey, and observing the wonderful skills they share with the children they work with.  Being a Visiting Teacher incorporates flexibility, creativity, and opportunities to share my passions with others in a team of supportive and talented individuals.
