At Education Angels, our aim is to find the most suitable Educator for parents/guardians and their children and to provide a safe, caring and nurturing learning environment. This provides the foundation on which we build our relationships and learn about ourselves, others and the environment. We acknowledge the bi-cultural society that is Aotearoa/New Zealand and embrace the cultural diversity of our families and children.
For children to learn and grow and rise to their full potential, they need to feel safe and secure with a strong sense of belonging. At Education Angels, we ensure that Educators and their homes are chosen to provide such an environment and that Educators are given on-going support to achieve and maintain the highest of standards in education and care as part of our in-home childcare service.
We believe that each child is an individual and not an “empty vessel” to fill, rather co-constructors of their own learning. Our Educators work alongside the child/ren to maximise their learning potential and build their emotional intelligence so that they may become independent, confident, life-long learners.
